Governance has been incorporated into the development models of many countries because of its role in ameliorating inequalities in society. Ramesh Chandra Das is a Professor at the Department of Economics, Vidyasagar University, India, with 25 years of teaching and research experience in the fields of theoretical and applied economics, environmental economics, and political economics.
