Introduction: Cardiac arrest, also known as sudden adult death or cardiopulmonary arrest, is an abrupt cessation of heart muscle contractions and breathing in the patient, resulting in an interruption of perfusion to the body's vital organs. The occurrence of cardiac arrest in the operating room (ACBO) is a rare but very serious situation in anaesthesia, and deaths due to cardiac arrest are most often due to the lack of rapid management of the victim, mainly because of delayed diagnosis. Objectives: To evaluate the knowledge of technicians and doctors in anaesthesia and resuscitation regarding the management of cardiac arrest and to develop the interest of training by simulation in order to refresh the knowledge and develop the skills of the intervening parties. Material and methods: This is a prospective, analytical and comparative study in the form of an anonymous multicentric questionnaire. We distributed 100 questionnaires to anesthesia personnel (doctors and technicians): 50 for personnel trained by simulation and 50 for personnel not trained by simulation. Results: Among the respondents who had received training by simulation, 82% were trained by simulation.
