With the help of a family that removed her from danger, she avoided arrest and acted as a courier in the Dutch Resistance until the end of the Nazi occupation. After World War II, she moved to the United States, where she devoted her life to working with nonprofit organizations. She currently lives in Lakewood, Ohio.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cb\u003eDr. Gregory Moore\u003c\/b\u003e is associate professor of history and political science at Notre Dame College in Cleveland, Ohio. He received his doctorate in history from Kent State University.
