Her teaching and research interests are mainly in transportation studies. Her scholarly articles on urban transportation, intelligent transportation systems and transportation modeling are well published and read. She was a fellow of the British Computer Society and she serves on the international editorial board of the Annals of Management Science. She has a rich consultancy experience with government organizations in policy decisions on transportation, technology and management.
