Author Biography

Debbie Leonard is indeed a CPA of a different breed. She is the business development partner in the CPA firm of Thill & Leonard, CPAs, LLC, and specializes in business planning, taxation, efficiency implementation and growth strategies. In addition to her CPA, Debbie holds an MBA in Marketing and Finance. She earned her CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation and is recognized as an expert in commercial real estate. Despite the alphabet soup of degrees and certifications, marketing and networking are Debbie's true passion. Debbie is well known among the networking royalty in town. Since facilitating the Home Based Business Connection in the late 80's, and starting the wildly successful Business Referral Alliance (BRA) group in 1992, she has been a vibrant addition to many discussion panels, "lunch & learns" and training seminars on the topics of marketing and networking. Debbie loves to teach and uses humor and a keen insight into human nature to create entertaining lessons that help both beginning and experienced networkers. Debbie and her family reside in Overland Park, Kansas and are devout Jayhawk fans.
