Author Biography
Dr. Leonard Kreisler MD, received Board Certification in Occupational and Environmental Medicine and Family Practice. He represents extensive research and clinical experience, military and civilian. As an Army Captain, he served at Ft. Detricks's Bacteriologic Warfare Research Center and as Ft. Ritchie's Post Surgeon (the "underground pentagon"). His 13-year civilian experience started in 1960 as an old fashioned Marcus Welby-type family practitioner. He spent 18 years as Medical Director for the Nevada Operations Office of the Department of Energy starting in 1973, where he directed medical programs for workers assigned to America's atomic testing program. Other accomplishments: Chief of Staff at southern Nevada's only not-for-profit teaching hospital, cruise ship physician, FAA medical examiner, certified Medical Review Officer for drug surveillance and rehabilitation, author, speaker and consultant.
