Sulaiman\u003c\/b\u003e has been involved in the area of biomedical research focusing on the control and prevention of human-pathogenic microorganisms of public health importance, for over three decades. He obtained his PhD from Delhi University. Dr. Sulaiman joined the U.S. CDC in 1997, and worked until 2008. Since 2008, he is with the U.S. FDA. Dr. Sulaiman has characterized a large number of emerging infectious microbial pathogens isolated from various sources.
