(Harvard University and Johns Hopkins Hospital) and in Sweden. She is one of the earliest female physicians to establish cardiology in India with her extensive research in heart diseases. \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e She is a widely published author in both Indian and International journals and books on cardiology. With over forty years of teaching Undergraduates, Postgraduates and Postdoctoral Fellows and over 300 publications, Dr.Padmavati has been a pioneer in Preventive Cardiology.
