Author Biography

Shari W. Quinn, NBC Albany affiliate's Today's Woman is the bestselling author of the fiction novel Disloyalty. Her second book, 42 Strategies to Market Your Book: An Author's Guide was recently published. Shari is a native of Albany, NY. After living in suburban Atlanta for eight years, she relocated back to New York's Capital Region. She is a leader in education, a college professor, and has been in higher education for 14 years. She has served as a guest speaker in over 75 high schools throughout New York State. After aspiring to become a published author, Shari challenged herself to embark on the journey of fiction writing. Her novel was inspired by a collection of personal experiences. She earned her Master's of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Marketing from the University of Phoenix in Atlanta; Bachelor's (B.S.) in Marketing and Management from Siena College in Loudonville, NY; and an Associate's (A.S.) in Liberal Arts from Hudson Valley Community College in Troy, NY. She has completed more than two years towards her Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degree in Educational Leadership. Shari is the proud mother of three children, Sharia, Ruffus "Pop" IV, and Malik; two grandchildren, DeShari'ay and Anthony Jr., and lives in upstate New York.
